Walker Wins Second NSBA Title This Year

NATIONAL SENIOR BOWLING ASSOCIATION

Larry Walker of Garden City won his second National Senior Bowling Association title this year with a 260-208 victory over Gerald Johnson of Riverview at Skore Lanes in Taylor.

Walker qualified fourth and had wins over Enrico Odorico of Clinton Township 299-227, Ernie Segura Jr. of Taylor 214-202 and Ross Beers of Saginaw 229-213 en route to the championship match. Walker took home the top prize of $1,000.

Tulak qualified second. His victories were over Phil Horowitz of West Bloomfield 289-191, Bob Frink of Washington 238-203 and last month’s winner Joe Krajenke of Clinton Township 245-215 to advance. Johnson earned $500.

Local cashers were Horowitz for $95, Mike McCleskey of Southfield $95 and Bill Haynes of Rochester Hills $70.
